Staff team

A team of 5 ministers, a pastoral assistant, a youth worker, a finance officer and an administrator serves the Methodist Church and Borough of Enfield. Each minister has responsibility for particular churches but also uses his or her skills across the whole Circuit, not least in the development and leading of worship.

Alan Combes - probationary minister

Goffs Oak, Ordnance Road and Ponders End

Alan and Michele have two grown up teenage daughters - Emma and Rachel. Alan trained at the ecumenical Anglican / Methodist - Eastern Region Ministry Course. He loves worship in all shapes and sizes; he plays the drums and the trumpet. He cycles where possible, despite having spent 20 odd years in the automotive industry and related university teaching.

Emily Young

Youth Worker at Edmonton, Ponders End and throughout the Circuit. Emily came to Enfield after training at Brunel and then serving for ten years as the Youth Worker at the United Reformed Church in Kingston upon Thames. She has a degree in History and English from Roehampton College, the University of Surrey. She has been a member at Hinde Street in the West London Mission circuit and trained there as a local preacher.

Syeeda Sattaut, Circuit Finance Officer

Syeeda has a background in banking, as a tax officer and working in finance for Oxfam
